Machines Reading Your Mind
It seems that scientists have developed a mind-reading technique that allows them to predict the images people are looking at. This is possible due to utilizing scanners to study brain activity. Some analysts have pointed out that this could lead to the possibility of a brain-reading device that could create a picture of a person’s visual experience at any moment in time. While this still sounds like science-fiction it looks like this technique is already a big achievement, as the accuracy of predicting the images that people are looking at was 80% in various tests. For now, it is only possible with still images, but when it comes moving images, scientists still have many years to devise some way to make it work.

Profit From Websites
Creating a website for profit can be quite challenging; however, it can be a lot easier when you have some ideas. That is why I would like to present you with a few types of sites:
As I said earlier, there are no get rich quick schemes, so please treat the list I gave as ideas that you can use to get started. Each of us have different abilities, and I imagine that while some of the websites I mentioned might seem very hard to create, to a person who has the right skills these ideas will bring a lot of money. Remember that you do not have to have many different websites to earn a lot of cash. I suggest choosing one or two ideas and sticking to them.

Speed up Boot Times
No one likes wasting time while waiting for his computer to boot. That is why it might be a good idea to take some measures in order to speed up the boot time. First of all, it is important to understand that each time your computer is loading, it is actually loading all of the programs that are set to run at startup. Secondly, my observation is that usually people who complain about load boot time have many unnecessary programs that set themselves to start each time your computer is loading. You might not see them, because most of them run in the background, but trust me that an average computer has often more than a dozen programs that load at startup. All you have to do in order to speed up the boot time is disable some programs to load at startup by going to Start -> Run…-> typing “msconfig”-> Startup and unselecting non-crucial applications. Make sure you do not turn off any program you may actually want to run at startup. Important programs like that include firewalls, antivirus software, spyware detectors, or any program you use on a regular basis. On the other hand, try switching off programs that you rarely use.

Running Contests on Your Blog
I would like to present you with an idea how to make your blog more popular. I think that this idea will only work for more established blogs, or for those bloggers who are willing to invest some money. First of all, people love contests. People love contests because they like the idea of winning something. There are some bloggers who organize contests and giveaways on a regular basis, and the number of their RSS subscribers skyrockets.
Even a blog that is not that popular, after announcing a contest in which attractive rewards will be given out, might become a lot more popular within a couple of days. There is a big probability that the number of visitors will increase, as well as number of RSS subscribers. People will hang around such a blog to see if there are any new contests.
Visitors will also start reading various posts on such a blog. As you see, there are various advantages of organizing contests, and that is why I encourage bloggers to organize them. It is not as hard as it sounds, and your blog might become a lot more popular because of organizing them. You can visit other blogs in the blogosphere to see which contests are the most popular.

History Of Trojan Horse Virus
We all know that the hardest virus is Trojan horse but do we how does it got the name? There was War between Greek and Troy for the beautiful woman in the world, Helen. This Trojan War lasts for ten years. Greeks decided to defeat Trojans in a tricky way. They have made a gigantic wooden horse and some Greeks were hid themselves in that horse. When the Trojans came to the spot, they thought all the Greeks ran away and they have taken that horse to troy. The winning ceremony was held on that night. The soldiers came out from the horse and opened the gate for other Greek soldiers to enter the Troy. After a long fight Greeks conquered Troy and killed all the Trojan men. The women and children were taken as slaves. Like the hidden soldiers were attacked suddenly, this Trojan horse virus suddenly attacks the system by hiding themselves.

Data Mining
Database has been gaining popularity in the recent years. As the price of the storage devices has been decreasing most of the data are stored digitally. With the huge data we can do calculations, predict the future values by analyzing. Data can be analyzed by many methods. Before analyzing data should be collected from different sources then we should process it. Cleaning should be done to avoid redundancy. Various visual methods are used to present the results. Bar charts, Pie charts, tabular methods are used. This process of analyzing is called data mining. We will discuss about data mining briefly in the future posts.

Bulding Your Own External Hard Drive
Many files such as programs, music, games, and movies take a lot of space on our hard drives. Getting some extra space for data is always a good idea. If you want to save some money and get more storage space, then I recommend that you build your own external hard drive. There are a few steps that you will want to follow in order to build a perfect storage device.
First of all, you have to buy an external enclosure kit and decide how you want it to be connected to your computer. Connecting with an USB cable is probably the best idea, however, some users prefer Firewire. You should also remember to choose a hard drive that will fit into the enclosure kit.
The most common hard drive that should fit for sure is a standard 3.5? unit. However, if you want your external hard drive to take less space, then you should use a 2.5? hard drive. After you put together your external hard drive, remember to format it right away. An external hard drive is also a great storage device for backing up data. The biggest advantage of this type of drive is that you can take it with you and connect to any computer you want.

Transform Your Pictures
Would you like to edit some of your pictures? I have always been a very big fan of old-timey pictures, and I found a website that can help me make any picture I want look like it was taken one hundred years ago. Of course, you can do many tricks in Photoshop, but I found Labs.wanokoto.jp/olds to be a lot more convenient to use. You just upload a picture of your choice, and a few seconds later it will be transformed. It is a really neat tool. I hope to find even more websites that will make it possible for me to edit my photos. After all, there are so many ways a picture can be transformed. Of course, you can use Photoshop, but it is not that easy how to use such a complicated program. Additionally, programs like Photoshop usually cost a lot of money.
