Is Freeware Lower Quality?

Freeware is computer program that is available at no cost, or in other words, for free. Computer programs are generally very expensive, and some people spend more money on software than on hardware. While you cannot avoid buying hardware, you can avoid buying software by using freeware programs. This could amount to possibly thousands of dollars per year. The idea sounds great, but unfortunately freeware programs are often considered to be of lower quality. While it might be true in some cases, there are also high quality freeware programs which could save you a lot of money. Open Office is one of such programs and it is considered to be as useful as Microsoft’s Office. There are also many freeware firewalls like Comodo Firewall, which can protect your computer efficiently, and do not cost a dime. As a matter of fact, if you look around there are plenty of high quality freeware programs. Sites like download.com feature a lot of freeware programs and even have a ranking of most popular downloads. On the list you can find browsers, security programs, utility programs, chat programs, and many more. Some of the programs cost money, but have a freeware version that has slightly less features or has ads. I recommend freeware software to anyone who is on a budget, as it is better to spend money on hardware instead.

Earning Extra Cash

There are a lot of writers that not only like to write a lot, but additionally have blogs dedicated to money making techniques. There are some interesting posts about making money that are posted all over the Internet. It would take a long time to read all of them, so for your convenience I decided to summarize it in a lot less words. Basically, it is about techniques that people use to make money online. And this is in short how they do it:

-They join a network like b5media that has a base pay and a certain dollar amount per page views. B5media was founded by Darren Rowse.
-They build an authority website and look for ways to monetize it.
-They write a book once the blog is established and use their blog to promote it.
-They create a product and sell it on their site. There are a lot of products that can be sold this way.
-They use ads like AdSense, Chitika, WidgetBucks. It is important that ads should be targeted.
-They use e-commerce. Selling goods for women and babies are the best source of income.
-They become freelance writers.
-They have a few websites appealing to different people.
-They subscribe to TTZ media if their blog is about technology.
-They offer services.
-They have a site about something very specific like iPods. This will ensure very targeted traffic.
-They participate in paid surveys. However, watch out for scams.
-They participate in referral programs. Depending on what you refer, you can make a lot of money.

Make Money with eBooks

You do not necessarily have to write eBooks in order to be able to distribute them and make money in the process. I am not discussing earning money by selling someone else’s copyrighted eBooks. What I mean is that you can insert your affiliate links in someone else’s non-copyrighted eBooks, and then upload them on different websites so that people can download them for free.
There is a service called Butter Fly Reports that was invented by Mike Filsaime and Rod Beckwith, two Internet market experts. What they do is that every month they offer free eBooks, and allow their readers to put their own affiliate links in it. This is definitely an interested way to make some extra money, and it is also a quite innovative type of viral marketing. If you prefer not to write eBooks, then you should check out this idea.

On the other hand, it might be a good idea to write eBooks yourself, and allow people to distribute them. This way your website will gain a lot of popularity, and you will be able to monetize your site with ads. Integrating AdSense ads can be a good idea if you have a lot of traffic. Of course, writing eBooks is not always as easy as it sounds. In order to write an eBook You will need to have some interesting ideas and good writing skills. If you want to get inspired then it might be a good idea to read many eBooks.

Computer Remote Control

Do you often sit in front of your computer? While sitting in front of the computer did you ever thought of sitting on your sofa and relaxing a little bit? Maybe sometimes you thought that it is unfortunate that you cannot sit on your sofa and browse the Web at the same time. On the other hand, those who watch TV can lie on the sofa all the time with a remote controller in their hands, and they can simply relax if they want. It is possible, however, to have a remote for your PC. You might be quite limited to what you can do while on your sofa, but watching movies from DVDs, listening to music, or viewing slideshows are some things that will be possible. I do not think it would be possible to write posts just using a remote; however, you could probably use a wireless keyboard if you have a very large monitor. Anyway, while you cannot perform most computer functions with your remote control, I think it is great that you can do at least some things on your computer while relaxing on your sofa. Projectors could also immensely help, and while they are expensive, who knows, maybe somebody soon will come up with a technology that will result in a lot lower prices?
