It is important to remove any thatch that is present as well as weeds and to thin the lawn (through raking) to allow the seeds to germinate and take root. The lawn will need to be mown to as low as one-half inch to allow the seed to reach the soil. Also, the lawn may need to be aerated to reduce soil compaction. A soil test is always a good idea when repairing a lawn as the test will reveal whether any amendment (such as fertilizer) will be needed. After preparation, apply the seed – by hand or machine – and lightly rake the lawn to move the seed to soil level. Finally, apply mulch to retain moisture and protect the seeds.

The Sugar thing

I love when people ask if I have lost weight - "Why yes, I've lost 30 pounds," I say. And I have. Thirty lbs. in about 3 months. How? People always immediately want to know how. I gave up sugar. Simple. Most people are in total disbelief - they cannot fathom giving up sugar. Well, when the idea was brought up to me, I was certain it was beyond my will power to stop the sweet stuff. But here I am, down 30 lbs. and not missing them. Well, okay, that's a lie, I do occasionally want a piece of hot fudge cake or cookies and cream ice cream, but I can usually muster the will to not give in. Also, I have found that when I do allow myself a treat (treat being defined as anything with more than 3 grams of sugar per serving) I have found my tolerance is very low - 2-3 bites is typically all I can handle. So, I am happy to say, I conquered sugar! I was addicted - now I read labels and it is amazing the amount of sugar I took in. I am no longer a slave to food and never will be again.

Mistake done

Yesterday I transferred a sum of money to my cousin through online banking. But I came to know that I transferred to a wrong account number. I was very much surprised to see that this was my first mistake done on banking. I was too careless in this transaction. I wanted to get that money back.

Fun In School days

We started watching an horror movie. While watching it we remembered our school days which were filled with fun. At small age without any knowledge, we used to make our principal run here and there in the night. And during the day time we used to play with animals which are made with plastic.
